New Warmth Bank opens at Anita Stone Court

BCOP are delighted to announce a new ‘Warmth Bank’ for older people in Annie’s Bistro at Anita Stone Court, on Moor Green Lane. This will run between 10.30am and 2.30pm on weekdays* until and 8th March 2024. We’re also giving away 100 electric blankets to keep older people warm at home.

Tenants get active at Edgcumbe Court

Free Gentle Exercise classes, run by local company Fitnniss, are now available to tenants at Edgcumbe Court and over 60s in the Bartley Green area, thanks to a grant from Edgbaston Neighbourhood Network Scheme.

New Visiting Guidelines from Monday 17th May

Yesterday, the government announced the following further relaxation of the guidance around visiting care homes.

Residents can now be visited by 5 named visitors (including their essential care giver if they have one), with a maximum of 2 visitors at any one time or on a given day. These daily limits do not apply for very young children or essential care givers.
