Families, friends and local communities were warmly welcomed to our summer garden fetes and enjoyed entertainment, stalls, refreshments and fun activities.
In case you missed them, here are some photos and videos taken on the days.
Our heartfelt thanks to everybody who supported us, as we raised money towards our sensory gardens appeal. Many people donated tombola and raffle prizes, baked cakes and volunteered on the day. We raised an amazing £200 at Anita Stone Court, £320 at Neville Williams House and £560 at Robert Harvey House.
The youngest fundraiser at Robert Harvey House was Kate, one of our residents’ great granddaughters. She spent a lot of time, effort and talent organising our “Name the Bear” competition.
We’d also like to thank our staff for helping us prepare for the day by setting up and then clearing away afterwards.
