From January, there will be two ways to visit your loved ones in our nursing homes – in one of our Visiting Pods or, for nominated visitors, a resident-room visit. Both types of visit last 30 minutes and must be booked in advance. Our maintenance teams constructed Visitor Pods in record time – here’s the Pod at Anita Stone Court, beautifully decorated by one of our carers.
We’ve had such positive feedback from visitors and residents in the first few weeks. The Visiting Pods are available to book for a 30 minute visit – contact the nursing home.
Depending on the provision of Lateral Flow Device Tests from the government, LFD testing should be in place at all three nursing homes from January, meaning that we will be able to offer nominated visitors a 30 minute visit in the resident’s room, provided that the visitor’s LFD test is negative.
