Fee information

April 2025

Our care homes accept:

  • Local authority funded residents
  • Self-funded residents
  • Residents who receive a contribution towards their fees via Continuing Health Care (CHC) or Funded Nursing Care (FNC) schemes

Understanding how to fund your care can seem daunting, but our staff are always here to help and guide you. Please also read our ‘Funding your care’ information.

What is the BCOP average weekly fee?

Our average gross weekly fee from April 2025 is £1,599. The exact amount depends on:

  • The type of care you need
  • The specific room offered (as room sizes and outlook vary)

The fee includes care costs, accommodation and operational costs. The cost breakdown is:

  • Care cost: 64 %
  • Accommodation & operational cost: 36 %

We review our fees annually, increasing broadly in line with the National Living Wage, inflation and other associated costs. Fee reviews exclude CHC / FNC payments, which are set and awarded individually by the NHS.
