BCOP’s annual reports provide a clear and transparent overview of the charity’s work and achievements each year. They typically include a Chair’s foreword and a CEO’s report, offering reflections on the year’s progress, challenges and successes. The reports highlight BCOP’s mission, vision and values, along with updates on strategic aims, developments in nursing homes and housing schemes, and initiatives to enhance resident care and safety. They also introduce or acknowledge the work of the Trustees, Board and staff, often celebrating long service, key appointments and staff development. In addition, the reports showcase the role of supporters and donors, as well as wider community engagement. Each report includes a financial statement, presenting income and expenditure in detail, with breakdowns across services to demonstrate accountability and sustainability.
At BCOP we have been delivering services to older people in Birmingham since 1946. 2025 will be the start of our 80 year, and we want to redefine and consolidate our vision, mission, values and ethos.
