Respite care at BCOP

Respite care at BCOP offers your loved one a short-term stay in one of our three Birmingham nursing homes, with full day and night care provided by our skilled team.

Each guest has:

• Their own allocated en-suite bedroom
• 24/7 nursing or dementia care as needed
• Full access to our home-cooked meals, lounges and activities
• A safe, welcoming space where they are treated like one of the family

When is respite care useful?

• While family carers take a holiday or attend to other responsibilities
• For recovery after illness, hospital discharge or surgery
• As a trial period before moving into residential care
• During transitional periods when additional support is needed

"My mom and I were warmly welcomed during our initial visit to Robert Harvey House. The staff were very informative about the support and care they provide, reassuring me that my mom would be welcomed and would remain safe and well cared for.
