We’re proud to celebrate an outstanding achievement by Attiya, our Business Administration apprentice at Robert Harvey House, who has successfully completed her Level 3 Business Administration (Administrative Environment) apprenticeship with a Distinction across all components of her End Point Assessment.
Attiya began her studies in June 2024, completing her 18-month course while working full-time at the home. Her learning covered a wide range of subjects including office management, business, the work environment, organisational culture, policies and procedures, and even financial reporting.
Course requirements
Her assessments included creating posters, conducting staff surveys using Microsoft Forms, and producing written assignments and evidence of her professional communication. For her final project, Attiya gave a presentation on “Sustainability in a Care Home” — a topic she researched and delivered to her personal tutor and an external assessor. In her self assessment of the project Attiya commented "Perhaps most importantly, the [green] campaign opened up a wider conversation about sustainability and helped shift the culture towards one where environmental responsibility is more visible and valued in daily routines."

Supporting our staff in their growth and development
“Congratulations to Attiya on her outstanding achievement — achieving Distinctions across all components of her End Point Assessment for the Business Administration (Administrative Environment) Level 3 apprenticeship,” said Caroline Sampson, BCOP’s HR Manager. “This exceptional result is a testament to Attiya’s professionalism, dedication, and commitment to excellence throughout her apprenticeship journey. Her hard work and determination exemplify the high standards we value at BCOP, and we are immensely proud of her success."
At BCOP, we believe in supporting the growth and development of our people, and Attiya’s accomplishment demonstrates the positive impact of investing in skills and talent. Her success not only reflects her individual capability but also reinforces our commitment to fostering a culture of learning and achievement across the organisation.
Attiya was supported throughout her studies by Paragon Skills, her training provider, and by colleagues at both Robert Harvey House and BCOP’s Support Office. She says the most challenging part of the course was analysing a profit and loss statement, but with help from office staff she completed the assignment successfully — and came away with a much deeper understanding of how the charity operates.
“I’ve learned so much about different aspects of my job and how everything connects,” said Attiya. “Giving my final presentation was the part I enjoyed most. It really brought everything together.”
BCOP is incredibly proud of Attiya’s success — a shining example of what can be achieved through dedication, teamwork and a passion for learning.
