On 16th August, the activity team at Robert Harvey House pulled out all the stops to help resident Chris celebrate his 74th birthday with a special trip on the Severn Valley Railway. A devoted railway enthusiast, Chris was able to take a trip down memory lane by enjoying a steam train journey with his daughter Susan and grandchildren Joseph and Caitlyn.
Anthea Reid, General Manager at Robert Harvey House said: “Our Activity Team always try to go that extra mile for our residents, especially on special occasions such as birthdays. We know Chris has had a lifelong passion for steam trains so we were glad we could help him celebrate his birthday doing by something that he loves!”
