Robert Harvey House has taken delivery of a new Mobii projection system, an interactive ‘magic’ table. designed to stimulate movement, communication and mental activity.
The motion-activated unit can project on to tables, beds and floors, using motion sensors to turn them into interactive surfaces controlled by touching, swiping and splatting. With more than 300 different apps, quizzes and activities, there is plenty to help keep residents engaged and entertained
Ian Casey, Activities Co-ordinator at Robert Harvey House said: “The response to the Mobii system from our residents and staff has been amazing! It’s been great to embrace new technology to add another dimension to the activities we already provide. The Mobii can be adapted to our residents’ needs, likes and dislikes and so far they have enjoyed creating ripples in rock pools, painting and bursting balloons!“
