These may include pattern colouring\, collage\, lantern making\, textile art and simple symbolic crafts\, giving everyone the chance to get creative while celebrating cultures from across the world. \nA themed meal will also be available for this event\, priced between £8 and £10. The exact price and menu options will be announced closer to the date. \nUniversal Day of Culture promises to be a warm and colourful occasion\, full of shared learning\, creativity and conversation. DESCRIPTION:Join us at Anita Stone Court for a week of Easter celebrations from 3rd to 6th April\, filled with creativity\, companionship and a touch of springtime nostalgia. \nThroughout the week\, residents and guests can enjoy a variety of themed activities designed to bring people together and celebrate the traditions of Easter. There will be Easter bonnet decorating\, egg painting\, and spring flower arranging\, alongside light-hearted favourites such as Easter quizzes and themed bingo sessions. \nWe’ll also be taking time to reflect and share memories\, with reminiscence sessions exploring Easter traditions\, food\, church and family life over the years. These moments often spark wonderful conversations and connections. To round things off\, there will be gentle sing-alongs\, featuring familiar hymns and uplifting spring songs. \nA special Easter-themed meal will be available during the celebrations\, priced between £8 and £10. Full details of the menu and final pricing will be shared closer to the event. \nThis promises to be a lovely week of seasonal activities\, bringing together residents\, families and friends in a warm and welcoming environment. \nWe look forward to celebrating with you.

SUMMARY:Dementia cafe at Neville Williams House
DESCRIPTION:Dementia cafes are  informal\, monthly events where people with dementia and their carers can meet and get to know others on a similar journey. \nThe meetings are run by experienced advisors who provide practical support\, advice  and information. They have expert guest speakers. \nEveryone is encouraged to take part in dementia friendly activities\, which will include talks\, music\, arts and crafts\, games and quizzes. They are a great opportunity to have a chat and make new friends. \nOur BCOP care home staff work with the Birmingham Dementia Carers Hub (a partnership between Age UK Birmingham\, Age Concern Birmingham and Dementia Carers Count Birmingham that provides a range of support to those who look after someone with dementia) to support you. \nAll our dementia cafes are free\, so why not come along to one and have a cup of tea with someone who understands?
